Going Paleo doesn’t have to mean eating the same things constantly or missing out on your favorite desserts. This week’s Meal Plan Monday focuses on delicious Paleo recipes that will make your mouth water!
My mom & I recently did the AutoImmune Protocol diet for 21 days to see which foods could be causing an issue. It’s hyper-restrictive so the rest of the family cheated most of the time. I had some great results (lost over 13 inches & 24.5 lbs, increased energy, and my psoriasis cleared up) but my mom didn’t see any improvement, in fact she started having other issues. She’s not a big meat eater and wasn’t getting enough protein, so we decided to not continue past 21 days. Since we reintroduced foods, I’ve noticed my psoriasis is back and my weight loss stalled. We decided to do a modified paleo diet (she can’t tolerate nightshades & apples thanks to Lupus) and see how everyone does.
